Manatee Young Professionals (MYP) provides business, social and community resources for young professionals in Manatee County. Our programming is geared towards young professionals aged 21-40.

MYP MVP Awards

The inaugural MYP MVP Awards Luncheon was held on Friday, October 18 at PIER 22 Restaurant, Patio & Catering. Four individuals and one organization received awards.

The winners are:
Business MVP Award: Ann Breitinger, Blalock Walters, P.A.
Non-Profit/Government MVP Award: Simone Peterson, Manatee County Government
Entrepreneurial MVP Award: Rich Knowles, enRich Bistro
Employer MVP Award: Manatee County Government
MYP MVP Award: Eleni Sokos, Sokos Social

Holiday Hops Tour

The Manatee Chamber is hosting a Holiday Hops Tour and MYP members and guests have their own luxury coach bus! You will visit Chamber member breweries and distilleries including the Loaded Cannon Distillery, Naughty Monk Brewery, Darwin Brewing Co., and Motorworks.

Cost is $25 for paid MYP members, $30 for MYP guests.

Buses will depart from the Chamber's Lakewood Ranch Office at the McClure Center, 4215 Concept Court, Lakewood Ranch.

MYP volunteers are needed to help organize and distribute toys at the "toy shop" so they may be distributed for the Adopt-A-Family and Angel Tree Programs. Please dress for manual labor and wear closed-toe shoes.
